I've had a few people ask why I left WI and moved to TN, well......

Dear Diary:

Aug. 12 - Moved into our new home in Wisconsin. It is so beautiful here.
The hills and river valleys are so picturesque. I have a beautiful old
oak tree in my front yard. Can hardly wait to see the change in the
seasons.
This is truly God's Country.

Oct. 14 - Wisconsin is such a gorgeous place to live, one of the real
special places on Earth. The leaves are turning a multitude of different
colors. I love all of the shades of reds, oranges and yellows, they are
so bright. I want to walk through all of the beautiful hills and spot
some white tail deer. They are so graceful, certainly they must be the
most peaceful creatures on Earth. This must be paradise.

Nov. 11 - Deer season opens this week. I can't imagine why anyone would
want to shoot these elegant animals. They are the very symbol of peace
and tranquility here in Wisconsin. I hope it snows soon. I love it here!

Dec. 2 - It snowed last night. I woke to the usual wonderful sight:
everything covered in a beautiful blanket of white. The oak tree is
magnificent. It looks like a postcard. We went out and swept the snow
from the steps and driveway. The air is so crisp, clean and refreshing.
We had a snowball fight. I won, and the snowplow came down the street.
He must have gotten too close to the driveway because we had to go out
and shovel the end of the driveway again. What a beautiful place. Nature
in harmony. I love it here!

Dec. 12 - More snow last night. I love it! The plow did his cute little
trick again. What a rascal. A winter wonderland. I love it here!

Dec. 19 - More snow - couldn't get out of the driveway to get to work on
time. I'm exhausted from all of the shoveling. And that snowplow!

Dec. 21 - More of that white crap coming down. I've got blisters on my
hands and a kink in my back. I think that the snowplow driver waits
around the corner until I'm done shoveling the driveway. A$$hole.

Dec. 25 - White Christmas? More freakin' snow. If I ever get my hands on
the s0n0fabitch who drives that snowplow, I swear I'll castrate him. And
why don't they use more salt on these roads to melt this crap??

Dec. 28 - It hasn't stopped snowing since Christmas. I have been inside
since then, except of course when that SOB "Snowplow Harry" comes by.
Can't go anywhere, cars are buried up to the windows. Weather man says
to expect another 10 inches. Do you have any idea how many shovelfuls 10
inches is??

Jan. 1 - Happy New Year? The way it's coming down it won't melt until
the 4th of July! The snowplow got stuck down the road and the butt head
actually had the balls to come and ask to borrow a shovel! I told him
I'd broken 6 already this season.

Jan. 4 - Finally got out of the house. We went to the store to get some
food and a damn deer ran out in front of my car and I hit the
bastard.
It did $3,000 in damage to the car. Those beasts ought to be killed. The
hunters should have a longer season if you ask me.

Jan. 27 - Warmed up a little and rained today. The rain turned the snow
into ice and the weight of it broke the main limb of the oak tree in the
front yard and it went through the roof. I should have cut that old
piece of crap into fireplace wood when I had the chance.

May 23 - Took my car to the local garage. Would you believe the whole
underside of the car is rusted away from all of that damn salt they dump
on the road? My car looks like a bashed up, heap of rusted cow crap.

May 10 - Sold the car, the house, and moved to Tennessee. I can't imagine
why anyone in their freakin' mind would ever want to live in the God
forsaken State of Wisconsin.

LOL ive read the same joke about about Michigan. We are 7 inches from the all time record snow fall in a season.

I have 3 days worth of parts to add, the garage is heated but only enough to take the chill off and its getting to the point where my bones cant take the cold anymore.

Same her in far north Indiana. Record setting cold and snow. Imagine if the tables were turned and we had record warm temperatures how the media and phony bs spewing politicians would be blaming global warming. I just hope the roads are clear of snow in time for the GS Nationals:cool: Paul

Hey Turbodave.........I'll be losing my job soon , thanks NAFTA and corporate greed, and I want to go south. I've been in touch with the Tenn. work 1 department along with a few others in the south........any heads-up as where to get job info in your area ?......

Nothing specific, but if you google jobs knoxville, there's tons of stuff to sift through. Also google jobs Oak Ridge.

Dave.....I see you live in Sevierville. Got lots of kin down there! Eastern TN is looking more and more inviting. And yes, i'm getting sick of the white stuff up here too! Got a storm last night/early today and just finished shoveling.... again

Ken B.

Once got a ticket in Sevierville, driving through on my way to Gatlinburg. Forgot to pay it and had my PA license suspended.

Hate that town.

 I HATE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! La Nina's zone has moved directly across my area this year and this winer is horrible! I just got a letter in the mail yesturday from the city saying they have recieved complaints from my neighbor about my sidewalks not being clear. The funny thing is that the old bast*rd has nothing else to do in his retirement except worry about his damn lawn and sidewalks. He woke my 6 month old up the other morning snowblowing his driveway right next to my sons window at 4:45 in the morning! I saw him out there today picking at the ice, so I said "Hey Dwayne, make sure you get all of it, some dipsh*t called the city on me." I have tried to shovel but it's not easy every single day, especially when I have my son! Anyways, the funny thing is there is 10 inches of ice on the sideroads with massive potholes and the city expects me to keep my sidewalk clean.........WTF??? COME ON SPRING!!!!!!!!!

Well, just in case anybody thinks they can make the plunge, and need realstate search assistance, drop me an email, and I'll forward it into my Wife's email.

Ya got to move to SOUTHERN CT. All the stuff we got this morning is gone already.

Funny stuff...part of the reason why I say I am "from" Ann Arbor as opposed to "in" Ann Arbor.....do miss the Wolverines though..

I'm only 30 min form the WI border, I can relate. This winter has really sucked!

I cant believe all this white crap. 40 DEG today then rain turning to snow all week and back to 20 deg on saturday WTF. I hope some of this stuff melts today.running out of room to put it. I going to look for a house in arizona this year. The company I work for is opening up in gilbert in april.

Down here in the Dirty Im in shorts and a t shirt today enjoying 71 degree temps trees and plants are budding and just got back from the neighborhood lake catching a few Bass, went out last night bombing around in the GN.

Meanwhile the in-laws in NE and MN are frozen /slippin and sliding around. Praying for warmer temps.

Winters cool for a bit the snows pretty and all but after 2 months shoveling/freezin/ sliding through stops signs, wheel wells packed with ice, etc...it sux.

Tenn is a beautiful place. Parents lived in Severville, Tn near the Smokey Mountains and it was one most beautiful places I have ever seen. Lot of traffic tho. WI seems like a great place as well but that weather would get old fast as it does in New England.
