Why is the Power Steering Cap LH Thread

Any ideas why? Always seemed strange to me that only this cap is backa$$ward.

It was done so we didnt get confused with the oil fill after a long day of drinking our sorrows away

I remember reading in one of Kirban's books that for some unknown reason, the power steering reservoir cap screws backwards on '87's and forward on '86's...

Thats right up there with mopars left hand threaded lugnuts.I think they do it to just mess with your mind or so you break it and then you need to buy a new one,lol.
