Why does an ’87 seem to be worth more than an ‘86

The only chrome on it that an 87 doesnt have is the grille, and for -$200 you can find a 87 grille, and thats fixxed. (thats what mine has now)

i like to think that, some day, my 84 T Type will be worth something.
right now, all it's worth is the look of confusion when a TR "expert" looks at it and tells me that the turbo is in the wrong spot, and that someone took the intercooler fof for some stupid reason.
that, and it's a great car to drive.
