Who makes this cold air intake?

It was on a 84 Ttype parts car I bought a few years ago. Has a scoop kind of like an intercooler and the filter fits inside the box (I think). Fits perfectly between the IC air dam. Not sure its worth anything other than bringing in some cooler air. I've never seen one before and was just curious.

Could you take a picture of it from the front? Does it have the 1 piece air dam like the Hot-Airs or the 2 piece like the 86-87s? Pretty strange!

I'll try to get another pic. I've actually got it removed from the bumper now. It was set up using the 86/87 air dam and the stock air deflector was removed. It would take air in via a scoop under the box similar to the intercooler scoop. It must have had a special filter that was used with it because of the way it is made (you will see in the pic). Like most "ram air" set ups I'd say this one had no ram effect, only some fresher air maybe.

If you look inside you will see a wire mesh but I don't see how it would filter anything smaller than a tree limb. It would possibly be good for bringing fresh air into the engine bay via the hose that came with it but I don't see a great benifit of ramming air into the tb.

That is the old ATR Ram-Blo. Do a search on the effectiveness of cold air boxes. Scrap that old diesel truck filter and get a newer K&N cone filter for it. We have one for sale if you're into collecting vintage speed parts for the TR.
