 OK, first get the jokes out of your system.

I just replaced my A/C compressor and, with the kit came an A/C Orifice Tube. There were no real directions, so does anyone know where this thing goes?

Does the orfice just go inside the fitting and can you do this replacement without excavating the system?

I ask because I understand that you can get a heavy duty unit that is better for cooling while idling in hot weather if you have converted to the R134a.

You will have to vacuum the system out or you will loose all your r-12 or r-134.
The orifice is in the steel fitting right where my finger is pointing.

If your system is depleated, then just take the aluminum pipe off to get to the orifice fitting...

And when you pull out the old one, take note which end is front or back. I don't think there's any arrow on the orifice tube...........hi Bryan! ;)
