"Hello Bweavy it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums? "

In 8 years I have never recieved this comment. Some of you who know me pretty well know I have had some health issues.Bruce I appreciate the card I recieved today.
I had a heart attack 2 days after I turned 39 in Pa. Thought I was dead that night. Decided to move to NC thinking this would reduce my stress. Just over 2 weeks ago I had another. Pretty bad to the point I knew I had some major problems.
Those of you that have been around me or spoken with me know I'm pretty high strung. Well the first attack was a wake up call this last was a smack in the head.
I do understand that we have had some major problems the last few weeks in the business. I want to say now I'm sorry for that.
Hey you can't complain & bitch at me if I'm not around ;)
According to the Doctor giving a car away at 1 of the busiest times of our business was not the best idea,go figure?
I have had a lot on my plate besides my health at this time which we all do & I don't plan on going into great details, but I've had to fight several fires at once.
Honestly I probably will not ever be like I used to working 16 hours a day 7 days a week etc..
Doesn't mean I owe Shane $20K,Gbp is folding,Brian was Shanghaied by the Chinese, etc... Guys not to point fingers but I have read and heard what has been said about us lately & maybe it is deserved (to a point at least): there has also been way too much stuff posted that is just plain crap.
The agitators know who they are, and I know who they are; so there is no need to name names here. That is just human nature espescially this time of year.

All I can say is I have been doing this for 8 years & I don't plan on going anywhere. We are constantlly developing new products for our cars.

We are in the middle of restructuring here a little bit, with some more changes down the road.Discruntled employees are just part of having a business.
To those that have moved on keep in mind you could quit or leave at anytime.
Posting slanderous remarks will just give us time to meet up again in court.

I can't look in my Kids eyes & spend more time on the business then I do with them.I look at my 9 year old Daughter (that is when I started the business) and it amazes me how fast the time has gone by, not to mention how much of that time I missed. Those of you fortunate to have families will understand that. As much as I love these cars and even enjoy this business, my family is my life, contrary to what you may have read.

I have moved Kevin from the shop to the office and he will slowly be taking over some of the day to day operations. I got back Friday after my health issues, took my Dr.'s advice & fired the stress!
I'm not even supposed to be at work now,Meaning this week, but there are lot of messes left behind by the former crew that we are making every attempt to clean up. We will get them handled, but it is going to take some time. If we don't return phone calls right away it doesn't mean you are forgotten or deliberately ignoring you, we are running as hard as we can. Mistakes and bad choices staffing-wise have been made: I'll be the first to admit that, but changes are being made and will continue to be made; just please bear with us. When building a Team like we had in PA. didn't happen over night.

What we will be doing in the near future is developing a network across the U.S. to have distributors located where most parts can be delivered in 1-2 days ground. In other words Having Peter Ricks in WA. state,Sod from Hye tech in CA.Phil Underwood in TX. Randy Alexander in MS,other vendors in FL,NY,PA etc..
If (for an example) our Texas outlet is out of stock, the next closest one will be able to fill the order with a minimal delay to the customer.Next day shipping at ground prices in the Continental U.S.

WHY??? This will alleviate the shipping cost and delivery time on the customer's end & the stress on our end. Price increases will not happen.
Efficency will increase. you'll be able to speak with another vendor & know you have us standing behind them.Any way that is our intentions.

I'm still going thru a pile of e-mails & calls please bear with us. I would rather have 5 qualified people on hand at our business then 15 of "I don't know".

As always if you have a problem try calling & getting resolution or just e-mail me direct Bweavy@aol.com, Kevin's e-mail badgas440@aim.com.
Between us there is over 30 years experience.

Thanks for everyone's continued support & understanding.

We plan on having alot of new products out this year. Shane Stolts & I are working on all aluminum Door escuthceons that will be released in 2 weeks.
HRparts & I are working on front & rear control arms,in other words good Quality but at a reasonable price affordable to the masses. There are alot of other items being released as well. We just got in new Stainless power steering brackets. I'll polish them so they will look like they came from China for you  :D
We are planning on & have always had a goal of Home depot of Gbodies. You can buy a lower cost product for mild build ups to full all out top of the line products.

Posting like I used to will be minimal at best. I plan on working on the business instead of in the business. I guess that is just part of Growing. There are alot of things being worked on that has caused my stress. Nice thing is every day I get up I get to be around these cars all day. That & the customers keeps us motivated.

Brian your still the man in my book. Class act. You dont need to post anything. Your reputation doesn't need any postings.....;) Hope you feel better and slo ur roll and take it easy.

Hats off to you Brian. You are still one of my favorite vendors. Thanks for all your help and quality parts you have sent me over the years we have known each other.

Robert West

Hope your feeling better brian. All the people that bitch and moan can just buy their parts from the millions of other companies that sell parts for these cars:confused: Take it slow and easy .You are a huge asset to the buick community. Anyone that says your not. Well consider the source and then move on to all the people that think your the gbody king. There is more of us anyways. Well stay away from the fast food and eat healthy.Spend some Q/T with the family. Your family is more important than these cars. We are still going to buy parts from you no matter what. Hey when is the the next car give away:eek: just kidding . Take care of yourself

gbody

Wow man impressed that you continue to work so hard for the Buick community. Concerned to that you maybe putting in too many hours. Man I assist in fixing coronary arteries on a daily basis, using balloons, stents. Your only in your 40's man your too young. You need to heed your Cardiologist's advise man and slow down no more 60hr work weeks no more stressful giveaways. Didn't realize you've had 2 MIs. Your wife and kids want you around and so do we, you need to be around for them so please take heed to the Lifestyle modifications whether diet/exercise/work. Man I hope you don't smoke because you will be back . If you own a Coronary-Stent or 2 please take your Plavix you need to take on a daily basis. Don't just stop taking it abruptly. You know your symptoms if you get them take care quickly. You heard the old saying" Time is money well in the heart world time is heart muscle saved. I know you don't know me from Shinola , you strike me as a sensible man with exceptional work ethic and unfortunately a workaholic. Most know here you are a Business man of integrity as we've seen the way you handle yourself when BS is said on here. So please take a step back take a deep breath and consider. We all want you well bro we appreciate what you do for us Buick fanatics. Take care of yourself. If I was one of the Cardiovascular specialists that just finished working on you I would be just as candid in person.

Brian, glad you posted up for a sec , you know how the sharks are lol. Do what your doctor TELLS YOU!! I would hate to drive 11hrs again just to sit at your shop and not let you in the door lol. When you were here we got to talk a pretty good amount and I know what all stress you have on you, try to find a way to unwind man or its going to kill you. Keep your good help, can the bad, and just look for better. Bad help will stess you out more than no help sometimes lol. Just be sure to keep Phil [ I think thats his name out back, you know who I am talking about ] He really impressed me when I was there. Little quiet but D!#@ good worker, down right meticulas, and his work looked great from what I seen! If I don't do it, it is not good enough , that being said I would be proud for him to work on my car! That should show what I think of his work. People good on buicks are hard to find to hire as help and anyone here should know this! How many people do you know by you that are good on buicks guys!! Not many I would bet unless you are really lucky! Now imagine trying to hire a full crew of these people lol. Needle in a haystack comes to mind! Try to enjoy your kids as much as possible, they grow fast man and then they are gone. My daughter is 18 now and it is very lonely now sometimes without softball games, girl scouts, etc. They grow up so fast it just sucks lol. Glad you let them know about why you haven't been on a lot lately, I knew but if you wanted to share health issues then it was your place, not mine to let these guys know what the deal is. Try to keep home life and buiness seperate also. If they get into each other it just messes up both. When I shut up shop for the day here I am home period! Don't call me for a quote on a paint job, etc. Call during buiness hours like everyone where else expects you to. Thats not being a a#$ , its just keeping your home life good with your family. Most people understand when you ask them to call back or come by during work hours. Save some energy, after meeting that fireball of a son you have you are going to need some lol!!!!!!!! Take care and call me anytime bub!
ps Emily sent you an email, just let us know when you get the invoice on my fender cover and we will shoot it to you on paypal right THEN! Thanks again man. Daniel Ray

Good to hear you are alive and well. Keep up the good work and stay healthy.

Brian, as you look upon the people that care, it out way's the the rejects. Remember my offer, I'll come work for ya no problem, 'Course I'll let you pay me in Canadian dollars w/ a bonus. Keep your Health and Family first, Friend!
I do 84 hr work weeks 3weeks of a month but damn if I won't go and put everything on the back burner for 6 day's straight! You support your Family in the best way you know how, know one can blame you for taking time to be with them! I have spring break up though and can get 3-4 months with them straight..you don't! Take the time to Love and Cherish what your working for.
I hope Kasci is doing fine also. I know it's tough to find good hands.

I have 10 employes myself, complaining customers, etc... I am just glad there is no forum for Drycleaners:eek:

Running a small family owned business is never easy as you don't have the resources of a National or Multi-National Chain Store. Nevertheless in the time I've been around these forums and working with Brain I've never known him to stiff anyone or ignore Sales.

In fact he's the exact opposite and more than likely over extends himself trying to be everything to everyone in the Buick Regal community (we are a lively bunch aren't we).

It kills me sometimes to read where someone makes their first order with GBodyparts and if that order isn't filled and out to them in a jiffy they run up in here and start trying to put the smack down on Bweavy and/or Gbodyparts.

Brian, take care of yourself Bud, and your family.

Greg

Get well Brian, I am sure everything will sort itself out on the business end, the demand sure as heck isn't going anywhere.

Brian, I am pretty sure that most of us that have been around you for a while can completely understand that your business will have to wait while you recover from a tragic event like this. I know I have not recieved a part but I also know you will get to it. Just worry about yourself, I dont need a fellow "Brother" go down becuase of health. i just lost a fellow IBEW brother last week becuase of stress related issues and it's not cool at all. Please take it easy. Hey, I just got laid off today, do you need any help? Hows work in your area? Maybe I'll just move out there and help you on the business! ------Jeremy

I was wonder what happened to you. Hope your feeling better. You need a long vacation down in the tropics for a while..;)
