use Shareaza,download PeerGuardian first...

I use Walmart. Works good. - cheap - 88cents per song.

Then I burn it to a CD and rerip it back to mp3 for storage....

If you use "free" Limewire, you can't burn the songs to cd. You also have a limited play time when stored to the HD. I paid the $18 and almost have a terabite of....um....data.

Well, this sounded like the easiest idea but their site doesn't support Win98..aargg.. LOL.

Any other places, what about Kazaa or Napster are these still reliable sites to download from?

Google search "soulseek" and download it, simple peer2peer program, very safe :) Maybe not be legal ;)

I also have had no problem with limewire. If your using it for ipod, the itunes store is good, if for the purpose of burning to cd, target.com has a lot, non censorred.
