Im running the 28x9x15 slicks that are worn out. I want to switch to a drag radial because i drive on the street and dont want to switch rims when not racing. Is there a 29 inch drag radial that fits our cars.. Im running convo pros(8.5 wide forgot the b.s.) Thanks

I could be wrong, but I think the 275-60-15 is 28" tall

PS.......Not try'n to nit pic :)

I have 275/60/15's on mine and we had to trim the fender well lips to make 'em fit. 4.5 back space.

I'm using BFG 275/60/15 drag radials with stock GN wheels. The fit is close but, it fits without rubbing. These tires are 28" tall. I have noticed that all of these cars are a little different in the way they were put together so, a tire that fits on one car might not fit the same on another. I had this problem between my '86 GN and my '87 GN.

the 295-55-15 mt drag radial is 27.8 in tall,275-60-15 is 28.0.im running the 295 on 8 inch rim and it fits great with 1.52 60fts off the footbrake.i have also ran 295-60 series drag radial that is just shy of 30inches tall but car must have air bags at 25psi all the time.
