Can anyone identify the size of this turbo and what size stall would it spool best with?

Probably a Chinese copy of a Garrett gt35

Id have to know what turbine it had to make any rec. we don't know for sure it's a gt35r. Gt35r has a 61.4mm inducer. The turbine would be 62mm exducer if gt35r. If it's a t3/t4 bearing housing it's probably a t350 turbine aka stage 5. The GT35r is capable of mid 10's with supporting parts all in. It takes a quality converter to couple mid 10 sec power. Not necessarily a given stall.

Gt35r compressor 61-62lbs/min 2.5:1 PR:

This compressor is a winner on a cam/head 3.8 v6 at 20-25psi big time. With a good set of heads and good low pressure drop intercooler this turbo will go mid 10's no problem. Either t350 turbine, t04 69, or t04 76 (p trim) will kick ass with it.

Got turbo installed but the hose on the bottom that runs back to the block doesn't line up. Seems as if the turbo needs to rotate for it to line up.

Loosen the bolts and clock it correctly

You loosen the bolts on the housing clamps. Not the 4 smaller ones. You can run a wrench over those to check and be sure they are not loose after you go through a heat cycle
