What month car was made question

Is there a way to tell what month your car was made if you cant read the sticker on the door? Thanks

Yes look at the top 4 letters and number code on the cowl tag under the drivers side windshield wiper.

Tells you year of car, and the week of production in what month.

H is a 1987 car.

03 would be march for the month.

D would be the fourth week.

4 digits upper left of tag.

It gets tricky when you realize that the 1987 Grand Nationals were built into December of 1987- Technically they were 1988 cars but were still titled as 1987 cars.

You then have to go by the sequence number in order to determine if your car was built in, as an example, November of 1986 or November of 1987. Both would still be 1987 model-year GN's by Buick standards.
