What do I need to know about changing oil coolers?

When changing oil coolers what types are there to be used. And what are the differences. Are any prefered over others? Newbee here:biggrin: thx matt

Are you refering to changing out the factory cooler, or bypassing it and installing an external?

You need to know if it is trans oil cooler or engine oil cooler & of course, why you want to change it (existing one leaking)--what's your objective?
