What are buying the wife for Christmas?

Mine went out and bought a 300 dollar pair of boots AFTER I paid the balance of her new ring off (you think the ring being all hers would have been enough). Plus she's getting a kitchen remodel next spring so I figure she's good.

SURPRISED the wife with an early Chrismas gift. She has been wanting a Wrangler for a while. She is especially fond of "lifted" 4X4's and I am all about function so...............

It's a 2006 4.0 Auto with a complete Rock Krawler Long Arm Suspension System (3 Link Front 4 Link Rear with rear axle truss and Bilstien Shocks). Nitto Mud Grappler Extremes 35/14.5/15 tires and Alcoa Alumimum wheels. Best part of all is it ONLY has 14K miles on the clock! Going to make several changes starting with a different Wheel/Tire combo that works better on the street (keeping the Mudders for Play Time), wider flares (have to be able to get it to pass inspection) and some upgrades to the suspension. Going to get a decent winch also. Needless to say she LOVED it and drove around in it all day today.

I'm getting my wife what she loves Best. A day at the Spa. Manicure, pedicure, facial, and a 90 min hot stone massage.
Best Wishes to all my Buick Brothers and Sisters.

I spared no budget, bought mine the divorce she wanted ! $60K well spent. ( 200K if you count the extra house she got )

Looking for a suitable replacement seatcover, one that does not take up the whole seat !

May have found one, she just wanted sexy girly "sleepwear", I threw in a massage cert from a good friends wife.
Got it covered, time for more car parts, which she really likes.
Merry Christmas !

Got that for my wife last year at Belleza salon and spa, she loved it.... This year we are spending too much on our two sons so we opted to wait on our X-Mass presents for each other and go on vacation together after the new year...

Too many diamond tennis bracelets lost, Diamond neck less's never worn, Countless rings never worn and sitting in the jewelry box so jewelry is out of the question..

I havent a clue what to get my wife that ask for nuthing.......... she literally has everything already.

she got me everything... and more... i found her stash of presents in the closet while looking for my camping stove.

what am i gonna do? how do you buy for a woman like that?

Try this: Just get her something small, like a bottle of perfume, maybe some flannel sheets, then tell her that wouldn't it be great to do something like spend a fortune on someone who really needs something, who's really not doing well in the world, living in a one room apartment, poor as a church mouse, to do something for someone like that?

So, my wife agreed with me, to let me help someone so poor that that someone has been sleeping in piece of junk chair for the last five weeks! Her bed was taken out because of bedbugs....the whole apartment had to be fumigated! Five weeks, sleeping on a concrete floor and on that piece of crap chair! My God!

I ordered a brand new bed for her, had it delivered to her apartment, then went up last weekend and put it together for her................it was hard for me to keep my eyes dry, as hers were so wet, and the hugs went through the ceiling. I even bought her some new pillows for her head............the ones she was using came from someone's trash.....life can be that bad for people, you know? But, not on my watch. Not this time.

As for her piece of crap chair, my wife and I sat in it.........I was appalled how uncomfortable it was! Someone gave it to her instead of throwing it in the dump, which was their first choice.

I couldn't handle that any longer............I went down to Value City furniture company and bought her a brand new rocker/recliner...something that she'll always be comfortable in.....it's coming here in January, and I'm going to take it up to her when I get it. For now, I've just cut out a picture of it, put it in an envelope, and will surprise her for Christmas.:)

All of this cost me a pretty penny, it was nothing cheap. I wanted her to have something new for once and that would make her happy, something that would last, and something that would say, "Hey, I love you, I care about you. Merry Christmas!"
This woman is my 69 sister-in-law......none of her 9 children care at all about her.....she lives all alone on disability checks. She has arthritis so bad that she's stooped and has such trouble walking..........can you imagine someone like that sleeping first on a concrete floor, then a junkyard chair? Her apartment is a one room apartment....can't even hang anything on the walls. I just couldn't let that happen any more.

To me, and what happend to my heart at this Christmas time is indescribable! I've never felt so good, so close to the Lord, and so grateful for being able to help someone who is so very, very less fortunate than all of us put together........I went to sleep knowing that was the right thing to do, and I'm so thankful for having such an understanding wife.

I've never felt so satisfied and feeling so good as I know I exercised the true spirit of Christmas for someone.

And as for me, I told my wife I want nothing for Christmas except a hug, a kiss, and a nice warm cup of coffee on Christmas morning....and to watch my sister-in-law open that envelope!....I feel happier now for what I've done for someone so down in life, that it's even better than any present could make me feel. Isn't that what the Lord would do, really? Think about it.

Just an idea that may be worth trying......you'll gain a lot in your heart, fellas.

Now I know how good my good buddy, Mike Marthaller, Sr.(GNGift) felt when he helped that guy who was down on his luck and he ended up giving Mike his Grand National, and Mike continuted to help the guy to the fullest......it that wasn't the most moving, wonderful story I've ever heard. But now I know.......it makes your heart fill with pride knowing you've really made someone so happy on Christmas.

This is NOT a pat me on the back story at all! This is a story of something ANYONE can do, if they really want to try to give the Christmas spirit. As they say: "Try it, you might like it.";)

Thanks for letting me share. Take it to heart, fellas.

It's not as good as you may think Bruce. I tried that one year and she wanted to know if she could exchange it for a bigger model.....

Oh, my God, Ron!!!!!!! You've RE-BUSTED my gut!!!!!! I'm dying here!!!!!!!!!! Jeez!!!!!!!! That's a good one again............help me, I'm dying of a busted gut twice, and Ron is KILLING ME!!!!!!!

i am done, i got busted looking at cars, and talking to a fellow buick guy here about buying his car, Anyway i got that look.
So off to the jewelry store i must go.:( she will probably wear this thing once or twice then it will never be seen again.

Thats is a great thing you did there Bruce. The true Christmas spirit. I get so down around Christmas for various reasons, but mostly because people have forgot what Christmas is all about.
I would rather give than recieve and as a matter of fact feel undeserving recieving anything.
There are people far worse and can use a pick me up this time of year.
The wife and I dont buy each other gifts for any occassion. When we need/want something we buy it (if its affordable).

Wonderful stories and ideas, so many are struggling in this socialist economy, help your family then find someone to add to it, God does not care about your jewelry (but he does love hosepower, which is why he gave the blessed mother of acceleration)
As for Ron...buy a smaller box, maybe something a ring comes in, may look more impressive laying on the little velvet pillow....

Its that time of year again guys.
And just like every other year i don't have a clue.
She pretty much gets everything she wants all year long which makes shopping for her torture.

Yeah mine is pretty much the same way. I was gonna get her a gift card at a high dollar salon to get her hair done but what's the point, she's gonna go anyway. We can't possibly buy anymore crap for eachother. We pretty much got everything we want. WHen does it end? My kid has so much shit it gets thrown away before it's even used. It's all just crap anyway. Yeah I've grown to hate Christmas. I'd love to go on a vacation if our debit cards didn't get used so much they wear out every year.
