well my dad gave me his 86 grand national for my graduation of high school he had gotten it a couple years ago and it needed alot of body work but there was no rust on the car. we cleaned it and did some upgrades to the motor but the paint on it was shot on it so it never really left our drive way. well i went off to school for auto body at Alfred state and i needed a project car soo i called up my dad and we decided to drive it down to school so i could work on it just finished getting it painted and put together its not to bad for the first time ever doing any body work, its my first car i ever painted also

i couldent find a god 86 grill so i took a regel grill and just painted it with some trim paint car runs great needs a new exaust and a new t-top kit
 
some more pics of the body work the drivers side fender was complety crushed in and the header pannel was cracked so i got a refal one and just filled the holes with some fiberglass

Thats my son and i could not be any prouder of him . Now I have to find a sage green t type for my self . :eek:
 
Nice ... You did real good for your first time painting a car .... black cars are always alot more work....
 
yea i know But i think i could get one and change the color. I know a new paint guy !
He does like buicks :cool:
