Hello guys
I am installing a new Welbro 307 fuel pump. But the directions that came with it are in Spanish:eek: . I was wondering if anyone had an English version and could explain: Do you leave the diaphragm (looks like a master cylinder) in? Also what do you do with the hose they provide you? Is there anything else I should pay attention to that I might miss?
Thanks
David

you dont use the diaphram you use the hose in its place. Please tell me you got this pump from a vendor and not ebay.

Thanks for the info. I bought it about 3 yrs ago from a vendor. I just have not had an opportunity to install it until now.

Yes, drop the pulsator. The metal nipple that it's attached to, funnels down in size. You might want to saw off the last 1/4" to get rid of the restriction. I've had a lot of problems with that small piece of fuel line tearing (I presume from the torque of the pump when it kicks on/off plus the fuel pressure in the line). I suggest going to get a short piece of braided fuel line in it's place/
