ways around notching to fit 10in rim

Is there a backspace that i can go with to avoid notching the frame. I want to run a 28x10.5 The rims that i hav hav a 5.5 backspace. Is that to much?

Go with a 15X10 with 4.5 BS an roll the fender lip!! Tire may stickout a lil biot depending on how centered your rear is.. Also if you springs an weak you may need airbags or just replace springs. I have see this done an it looks pretty good.. Do a search onthe topic you may find pics!!
