where do you guys recommend me going to buy a turbo - I think I am settling on a TA49 and didnt know the best place to buy one - thanks!!!

Jack Cotton can hook you up. I ran a TA49 for a while and then went to a CPT66 BB. It was pretty nasty. I have since gone to a Turbonetics GT-K 850(72mm).

there are better turbo on the market these days than the ta49. I ran a ta60 for years with a stock trans and TC it went 11.43@118 in my car. and no downsides. I always tell poeple dont buy twice, get the bigger one the first time. you wont be sorry. Talk to some of the vendors and tell them what you want out of the car they can recommend a turbo suited to your needs.
