How many miles on the car? Is the car all stock? If so just put stock replacement springs in it.

On a stock car i just replace them with Chevy LT1 springs
Cheap and available almost anywhere

Yes, good replacements are Comp 980's.

I replaced my valve springs years ago with the LT 1 springs, never any problems here with them.

car is an 87 T-type 69,000 miles.6162e turbo ,60lb injectors ,tt alky chip,alky by razor,strech intercooler,art carr built tranny 9 inch converter, ,pump done,scanmaster ect ,stock MAF,ATR ss exhaust,3 inch downpipe,RJC powerplate,plenum,full throttle rear sway, the motor has never been touched as far as I know.

Replace the springs. I used Comp Cams 980's with no issues. Do not reinstall the cups if using these springs.
