WHO out there has gone for a long haul on an un-opened stock engine, ?
NO new timing chain, No new Valve springs, No new camshaft, ALL orignal parts ,STILL running??

199500- broke the timing gears going 80 mph.

Back together now.

Transmission #4 though!!

160k before timing chain replacement. No broken teeth on the chain. One lifter is starting to tap, and it leaks oil out of every hole it has (trying to resolve this as time permits). Stock tranny, but not sure how long it will hold.

The only V-6 I have that made it over 100,00 was my first 84 HA Riv which popped the HG at 162,000 and I know no one was ever inside it. I also had a 72 Skylark with the Buick 350/2V V-8 that went for 280,000 before the body rotted out from underneath me. That car ran the last 100,000 miles with absolutly no oil pressure to speak of. Had to pull the connector to the idiot light to keep it from glowing. Hey Dave I'm still looking for some decent Turbo-6 emblems for you. Talk to you later,Eric

I have a 93 LeSabre with 165 k on it and the motor is ontouched. Still has good power and doesn't use any oil.

I think BMason had like 200k+ and was running mid-low 11's.
I think he had springs in it.
