UCA swap

So ill be swapping out my G body parts front UCA's to UMI, the g body ones are brand new so the ball joint is pretty much just laying in the spindle (never been on the ground yet). The car is on jackstands.Would it be ok to put a jack under LCA and just swap em out? Springs are installed already.

I thought i read a thread about someone trying to do it or did do it before but i couldnt find it again. Never did just a upper wth it all pretty much put together. Thanks.
