Turning off EGR

Going thru the hack from gnttype.org, I cant figure out exactly what I need to do to can all egr functions.

The functions run from 2CF thru 373?

I'm used to having something like a temp enable(like for the ccp, directly below it) that I can set high to shut down all egr functions.

Currently set TPS enable/disable very high, but I am still seeing a duty cycle for the egr being commanded.

Want ot shut off period so I can retune my lower maf tables for 128/14.7-8 without interference.

thanks
Jeremy

Been awhile, but looking at an old bin:

2A1: FF (Kills MALF 32?)
2DC-350: 00 (clears EGR Duty cycle Table)
376:FF (Kills CCP?)

This was in a "recall" bin I made for tuning my MAF tables (no egr, open loop). Won't swear that it worked, but I think so.

HTH,
Tom

You might try setting 2CF to FE and 2D0 to FD. That should turn on EGR when TPS >= 99.2% and turn it off when TPS <= 98.8%.

My guess is that I tried FF in both and that didn't work so I resorted to the brute force method of clearing the table.

Why not just pull the damn EGR off and weld it shut no more issues then ;)
What we have always done around here, and many other shops I have worked duing performance mod's if there is no Block off plate for it :)
