Turbo not working on initial startup...

Maybe you guys can point me in the right direction for trouble shooting. This is the second time I've had the turbo not enage after startup. I've only had the car since November and this is only the second time it has happened. The car starts fine but when I hit the gas I get nothing. After about 3-4 mins everything goes back to normal and the turbo functions normally. I'm wondering if this is the beginning of a larger problem. Any help or insight in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated, thanks.

check all your hoses and the waste gate solonoid and actuator

Thx for the reply gb. Found alot of oil in my intercooler and throttle body when I got into it tonight. Going to buy new hoses and maybe get a breather kit to see if that helps. If not then I'll try the solenoid. The turbo seems to be fine no play in the bearings and spins freely. Thanks for the response.
