Trip od knob

Hi; I have had my GN since early 1988, and never have had a knob on the trip od set stem. This car was stolen from a friend of mine, and the crooks grab a lot of the interior, even the knob. I know this is a dumb request, but does anyone have one of these knobs? Also, is there suppose to be a clear lens over the digital display, mine just has an opening.

If the whole knob is missing you may have a non functioning trip meter. Call John at Caspers, he can fix them with parts from a different unit, dont know what the cost is. I have a spare digi dash that has a broken knob so I have contacted him as well, he said to send it in before he could tell me how much it would be to repair.
