The cover came very quickly and it is indeed steel with a black paint finish. Price is very fair and quality is A1 all the way...

Got mine the other day, metal and exact as my original one ... $20 USD from the parts dealer I use.

Now do what I did.. take it and have it powder coated glossy black! The hot dripping oil will kill the finish on it in no time! And we all know these cars love to leak all around and out that cover!

I got a really nice used one on my TTA at the moment that I had powder coated satin black, do all my stuff satin as I think the gloss powder comes out to clossy
My NOS one I will keep as it is until I need it or I might put it on e-bay 10 yeasr from now
