tire size for 16x8

I have centerlines 16x8 with 4.5inch backspacking. i am currently running 245/50/16 on the front and the tires bottom out and rub on the fender when i hit a hard bump. What a good size smaller tire to go with and also whats the biggest i can go on the back.

Stock front IROCs are the same 16X8 with 4.5 backspace. I ran them on my Red T and used 225 60 16s on the front. You could also use 215 60s. They are narrower, of course. You should run 255 50s on the rear... Sumitomo HTRZs if you want to hook with a street tire.
