Time to go Stage II!

I still have to do the final port matching of the runners after I get them mounted to the flanges. That will mean widening them by another .100-.120" or so.

Is it going to stick out of the hood? Alot of work to scratch build a intake;) Is it all going to bolt together with flat head screws and counter sunk fasteners?

I don't know about the hood thing. It will be what it is.
Not sure what fasteners will be used. Like I've stated before, it's a 'design on the fly' project.

No matter how you slice it theres is alot of work to build a intake.

Donnie, did you take any pics from the front with the runners, or at least that one runner on? Curious how it looks from the front. It is going to be sick for sure, and very "Transformers-esque". :)

I'll post a pic when I get the runners fastened to the flanges. I started on that task today.

Cylinder runners number 5 and 2 had to be relieved slighty to clear a couple of the intake flanges mounting bolts. It's hard to tell in the picture, but there is clearance above the heads of the bolts.

Jeez, that looks amazing... Almost looks too nice to put on those "rough casted" heads. Maybe you should whittle a set of heads too. :)

Looks real nice Donnie.

The new manifold, believe it or not, is still lower at this point than the Stage I intake setup was. There is a 5 1/2 inch difference at this point.

It looks like an engine out of a transformer or something :). Keep the V6 Buick porn coming! And thanks.

NOW ..mount 6 small turbo's on those runners and have your big one feed them .. sure looks better then a sheet metal trash can . i wish I could make money of your skills don..

that looks so fantastic! I'm sure the plenum will be equally impressive,
so much better than a cookie cutter - "me too" intake.
you DO think way outside the box, and some obviously have a problem with that! LOL
that should support about 50lbs boost and 9500 rpm, LOL

all on a "SIM" motor ,that won't work, :p
