ticking noise from passenger side

i started my car up this morning for the first time in about a month and a half and i walked over to the passenger side and i heard a ticking noise that only made noise during idle....i might be going over my head cause when i hit the throttle a tiny bit it sounds like a exhaust leak from the passenger header since they are the stockers... the scanmaster doesnt show any knock and my fuel reg. is set 42 vac off
