TB cable woes

I am just finishing up the install of the 87 style intake from JS

I have an 87 TB cable but it is too short. It holds the butterfly open a bit when I mount it up to the TB. I have the 87 cable bracket but it was sold with the bottom mount cut off. I was told it was for the cruise control - which I dont care about.

The top seems to be for the TV cable (trans) and the middle one for the throttle - the bottom for cruise.

Can anyone help me here ? Am I missing something ? Dont have an 87 to look at to compare it to....

Is it possible the bottom bracket was for the throttle? I am not sure how much the bracket differs from th turbomotion one. But on mine the very bottom bracket is for the accellerator cable, and the very top was for the cruise. The cruise cable is longer has more travel... Maybe the bottom one was for the throttle?

Can anyone tell me if the 87 TB bracket bottom slot is for the cruise or for the accelerator cable ?

I bought this thing for $30 bucks.....bottom one cut off...was told it was the cruise slot that was missing.
