I installed this cover and notices a small leak and found out it was leaking from 1 bolt , I circled the bolt , I just removed bolt and cleaned with carb cleaner and put silicon on the threads and all seems fine now , has any one run in to that before ?

Not on a rear cover. I did that to my aluminum trans pan though. No leaks now.

The only way it would leak is if the silicone didn't surround the hole on install or the hole is through and oil leaking down the threads.

If you don't get all of the fluid out of the bolt hole before you install the cover it will leak. It must be extremely clean for a no leak instal. Great covers though.

You will never be able to get this fixed! You need to remove it and sell it to me for a good price

It just occurred to me that my wife's T could use one of these covers. Once upon a time I saw a GN at the track push its differential out the ass end while it was staging and I realized Oh that's what those covers are for! Lol
