having never owned a t-top car before, and having no literature on them, how do I remove the t-tops from my GN. I don't want to damage them...btw they are the locking type

By remove do you mean convert to a hard top?

Some have done this on the board but it is a lot of work.

If you mean simply taking the roof panels out, pull the lever and lift. Don't drop them and put them in the T-Top bags in the trunk.

If you don't have the protective bags you could make some or order them from one of the frendly vendors on the site.

If you want to get anal, you could use some straps to hold them down in the trunk like many other T-top cars had.

thanks, the small screw holding the lever was too tight on one side, too loose on the other...didn't want to force it and break something

it's a good idea to pop out the t-tops after washing the car (or being caught in rain) and blow out all the moisture with compressed air. t-top seals are notorious for drying out and allowing moisture in (causing rust).
