Having an issue where I get some surging while part throttle under boost at about 8 to 11 psi.
WOT you don't really notice it but if you look at my powerlogger scan there's a bit of it going on.
When holding part throttle it will boost will be up and down and few PSI, MAF up and down too.
I had a bleeder T'd off the wastegate pressure line to control boost. I pulled that and routed my pressure line direct to the wastegate and still have the issue.
Seemed to show up when I was starting to up my boost after installing new chip. First time I got adjusted up to 21 psi or so it showed up after that. But now I backed it down to 15 psi and same thing.
Is it possible for the wastegate actuator to fail in this manner. I put pressurized air on it and it actuates fine, but if it's leaking or something I wouldn't really know. What's inside that thing, a bladder backed up by a spring? Any ideas would help.
