How do the lay-downs work? A different kind of mechanisim from stock I am assuming as opposed to just the lack of a spring?

first pick is stock gn second is the staydown door, staydown door only has 1 spring vs the gn's 2 the staydown door has like a cam setup that once it is opened a certian amount it locks itself open. Bolts up to your car with no modifications, direct bolt-on. HTH
