I have a SS also did you spin bearing? Also is the trans stock? My brother is looking for one.

I'm pretty sure it was the bearing had a low end noise but still ran great and had good oil pressure. I didn't want to chance a rod coming through the block with my wife and kids in it, So I replaced the motor. Yes it's the stock orignal transmission.
