I'm replacing my headliner and had a hard time finding clips for the the rear window molding. I found a supplier on E-Bay who advertises them as "78 -88 Chevy El Camino headliner garnish clips". They looked the same, so I bought them. Just got them and they are exactly the same. At a great price too. The Buy it now price was $7.50 plus $2.50 shipping to the Chicago area for a package of 5. Their store is:

Florida Auto Fastener
24968 NW Ruscito Ln
Altha , FL 32421

email: flautofastener@gtcom.net.

Hope someone else can use this info.

That's a good tip, thanks for sharing with everyone. Thankfully I was about to release the locking tabs and didn't have any of them break on me. Still good to know where you can get them.

Did GM discontinue these? I bought mine from GMpartsdirect.com last summer.

GMpartsdirect has then for $2.52/ea plus $10.95 S&H, so 5 would cost $23.55 vs. 10 bucks.

Plus, I keep forgetting my password for them and every time I try to retrieve it, it takes forever or they want more info, so I just give up. Much easier to just click "Buy it Now" on E-bay, use PayPal to pay and they were in my mailbox 4 days later.

Passwords are such a pain in the ass.
