ok, so about a month ago i took the gn out for the 1st time of the year (dealing with some health issues, so a slow start of the year for me). died on me and had to be towed home. initial thoughts were the relay, but turned out to be the fuel pump. swapped in a new xp and good to go. washed her yesterday, looking really nice. called procarassociates in akron and they carry vp's m1, so i'm good to go on alcohol. got the laptop out this morning and set up some of my parameters for tt chip to manage. back it out of the garage and pop the hood. had the wife watch the pressure gauge on for the alky pump. and...there's alcohol leaking from the pump and around a hose, and somewhere i can't initially see (really didn't matter at that point). hood down. back in the garage. damn. was really hoping to make test and tune at norwalk. how disappointing. sunny morning, cool temps. would have been a beautiful day to play and do a little tuning. oh well...
