Not a T, but a Regal...this was my old Regal (wished I still had it). The color was code # 62. It's listed as either Light Chestnut Brown or Briar Brown.

cut out that chrome side molding and trim off that ugly door strip and man that would be one of the cleanest brown t's I have ever seen. very nice!

A car I restored and sold in 2005. 1986 T-Type, in Lt Chestnut. No idea where it is today :frown:

Hi 87 WE2, did that T Type have a bench seat? It looks like it and was it cloth? Mine had the standard split bench in cloth (no pillowback/Limited style) and I haven't seen another in this color combo with the same seat. Usually they are buckets, once in a while leather. Mine is actually the same color but the sun was behind it in that picture.

Yes it had a powered 60/40 bench seat (cloth), it was a weirdly optioned car.
Electronic climate control, concert sound stereo, power bench seat, power locks, power windows, powered trunk release, no cruise control
I added factory cruise control when I restored the car.
If I could go back in time and do the sale of the car all over again I would have figured out a way to keep it or would have sold my GN instead and kept the T-type. I have never seen another 86 with a bench seat that was cloth in this color.

You did a awesome job restoring that car I remember when it was originally for sale

Thanks guys. If you ever come across it again I would like to know. I sold it to a guy in Del and 2 years later he sold it, no idea where it is now.

87WE2 that was a nice looking T type...I'd love to find one like it someday...bench seat and all...if I may ask where did you get your rims? I've never seen Buick turbine fins with the polished edges like that.

I did them by hand, took me about a month per wheel  Lots and lots of work but they looked killer spinning down the highway.

I just recently had another set done by a local company for my Wagon, they were stripped, fin and lip sections remachined, centers powder coated a silver color and then a clear powder coat over the whole wheel. The set I had done took like 4 days to turn around and now they just wipe clean with a damp towel which is awesome. I could have spent a little more and had them polished like the set I did myself after the remachine but went the cheaper route. As you can see they look nice but are not as flashy.

Thread resurrection!

Found this with a search...thought I'd share pics of "skidmark". 84 t type, dark briar brown with dark briar brown guts. Car has been repainted and its not super faithful to the OE color but close. Door Jambs weren't done, looks more gold in the sun and brown in the shade. O BTW it's my daily driver. Bought as a roller out of texas and now sports an unopened 86 LC2 thanks to Turbo Farm West. Was bought out of this thread: http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/threads/84-t-type-roller-or-looking-for-wrecked-turbo-car.399220/ I plan to redo the OE beige stripe someday.
