How and what exactly does this system due ??

Specifically, how does it tie into the ingnition system to disable it ??

Is it necessary to reset it in any particular steps after batt. disconnect ??

Is it possible to disable the system in any way ??

Hidden relay that disables the purple wire from the IGN switch to the starter motor when activated.

No need to reset anything after battery removal/reinstallation.

Brain center and light/horn flasher relays along with door lock switches and interior pin light switches also make up the system.

If you have +12 on the purple wire on the starter (key on) the system isn't bothering you.

Hidden power fuses also to run it.

Is this the small wire to the starter solenoid that is NOT on the same post as the batt + 12v ??

Thanks

Yes it's the smaller wire but still a healthy 10 or 12 gauge wire on a smaller ring, on it's own terminal.

Never measure that wire while under the car and turning the key on.

Always use a long clip lead or wire on the terminal and get out of the way in case it decides to start.

Read the purple wire to meter + with a good ground point on the black meter lead.
