Searched: Installed new ecm and now digital dash reads metric??

Installed a new ecm and my car's digital cluster reads metric...is there a way to change it or did I get a canadian ecm??

I tried the trip reset just for the hell of it but nothing.

I'll try it...i was pushing it like a monkey. I'm not used to these cars, this is my first. lol

Push the reset knob to reset the trip odometer. Turn it either direction to toggle between MPH and KPH on the display.

Pushing it too hard will break the trip odometer display...and a new one is no longer available. I have seen MANY broken displays from abuse of the reset knob. The trip odometer blacks out permanently and it's set for the junk pile. Repair involves replacing the display with a refurbished part - very costly at that point.

If turning the knob doesn't reset the KPH/MPH function, the switch is broken and needs to be replaced. DO NOT force that switch. It's very common for the switch to break - can't take abuse at all.
