seal power rings

I ordered a set of TRW's & rings new off someone on ebay. The rings were in their original box but the machine shop is telling me that both #1 & 2 rings should have a chamfer on them where my #2 ring is flat. Anyone every ran accross this, did they change their style, and are these any count?? THANKS

It depends on the P/N. We have some 2nd rings that are and some that aren't. All the 1st rings are. What's the P/N E-434? ...or R-10437?
