Just a heads up on Royal Purple oil.Found it on auto zone shelf today.They had 10w 30 in quart bottles and 15w 40 Cl 4 plus,gal jugs.Recommended for engines pre 2004.A bit pricey at $29.99 a gal.But if you use synthetic oil and add zddp then the costs are about the same.Local hot rod engine builder swears by the stuff.Says he's not had a cam failure since he's been putting it in the engines he builds.I'm going to give it a try as soon as my wix filters come in. george

Not picking on Royal Purple products, but just like all other street legal oils, Royal Purple may not be the oil that it used to be.
