rear end: how many quarts Royal Purple of 75/90

Puttin in my new rear end this weekend, buying the Royal Purple 75/90 gear lube and getting some posi additive.

Question is: How many bottles do I need?

Also, has anyone had any BAD experience running a synthetic gear lube in the rear? I have all synthetic fluids in my trans and motor, so this is the next logical choice but I want to make sure I'm not going to mess up my new (new to me) rear.

i run the royal puprle in my posi-rear. no addative needed. nice and quiet.
