Unfortunately no. Keeping it as original as possible.
Then what's that cross brace in the picture for. Going across from the lower control arm mounts. Looks beefy.
 
Wow! Talk about DeJaVu (sic)!! Looks like all the work that my Son-In-Law put into his GNX.
 
If its a real GNX or if you want to build a Legit clone than no. If you want the car to perform better than yes. Boxing the frame rails and where the 4 link anchors would be a good start.
 
Even though you're keeping as stock as possible I'd re-weld the original frame welds since they were so crappy from the factory.
 
I had considered that and decided not to for the domino effect it would have started. The welds are crappy,weld spatter and mig wire all over then needs to be removed. I'd have built a frame from scratch faster,cheaper and a lot more sturdy.
