Hey everyone. I’m trying to install my new A-pillar gauge pod and am having some trouble getting the OEM trim piece out. All screws are removed, the trim piece on the back of the door jam is out, but I can’t get the top piece out to get the A-pillar trim out. Any ideas? Thanks as always!

It's held on by some clips onto which the moulding snaps. There are no screws to hold this particular piece. Pull on it and it will eventually snap off.

Claude.

I had to push on the trim from the inside by the headliner toward the outside and pull the outside part down at same time. Maybe some has a different way they can chime in.

Thanks Claude. Any worries of something breaking?
Well…like "gstewart" just said, try unclipping them one side at a time by pushing on it from the other side which should help…might have less chance of breaking something…but other than breaking a clip, there's nothing much to break.
good luck,

Claude. ;)

Hey guys. So, I did what you recommended and the piece came out with no problem. Thanks again!!
