I need to remove the pins from the firewall bulkhead connector (engine harness). How do you remove them (push, twist, pull or a secret password)?

Thanks.

I believe there is a special tool that you must use with your tongue held the proper way, along with the secret cussword. I'm sure you can buy it for next to nothing at Casper's Electronics... look there...

use a small screwdriver to push in the little tab that holds the pin into the connector. it's easy once you scrape away that tar stuff they use to seal it up.

Don't forget to remove the secondary lock from the connector first. It's the part that looks like a comb, blue in color and pulls out from the side of the connector.

The terminals then pull out from the wire end, after pushing the locking tab into the terminal using a small screwdriver or pick.
