Radiator Fan working intermittent

Radiator fan working intermittently after i replaced the heads on car. The car will be 200 and the fan not on. I will turn the car off then back on then the fan come on. Ugg any help would be helpful

Sounds like a loose connection or relay going bad? Check the resistor and connections on the fan, the temp connector and then the relay for 12 vdc out. What temp is the chip set for 160?

Since you replaced the heads did you ensure good connection of the 4 ground wires on the back of the passenger head and the ground strap from the firewall to the block that is by the brake system?

Sounds like the fan turn on switch, located on the top front of the intake manifold. It has a single wire going to it.

Sounds like the low speed isn't working on the fan. It may be coming on when you turn the car off when it is hot and then back on because the high temperature thermal switch is activating from heat soak. Check the low speed fan relay and the low speed resistor mounted on the fan. The resistor could be bad or a connection is broken or burnt.
