Quick turbo question

Since you usually dont feel the turbo until your at a high RPM is it a good idea to install a camshaft smaller than half an inch to increase acceleration?

I don't understand. The turbo should spool quickly and at a low RPM. If that's not happening something is wrong.

well im not exactly sure im still learning about engines, ive just heard that turbo usually kick in at higher rpms on highways, so i figured that a smaller cam duration would get it there faster

your best bet would be to install a higher stall speed torque converter....

just my opinion...........
