anyone know how they work? for example if it is not bolted up to the bracket and wiper arms will it work? or does it need to be bolted up to have a ground?
for some reason when we took the stock one off from a 82 regal and looked to change the water squirters, for some reason when we put the harnesses back on it didnt work. it just made a click noise and when the motor was on the on position with the car on it made a buzzing vibrating noise, anyone know what is happening? oh yeah and we took it apart to expose the inner snail looking part which engages the top half with the rotating part.
one thing that i thought was weird to was that when the motor stud which connects the motor to the arms when it was grounded it spun even though the car wasnt on. is there some sort of relay that coulda tripped or is ther ejust a short circuit?
