Pushrods Too Long?

Well this weekend I went to set my rocker lash and I am seeing 2 threads if not just a tiny bit more out of my rocker adjusters. I used the push rods that were supposed to be close but it seems they might be a bit too long. I did some reading and it sounds like 2 threads is the max out you want to go before cutting off oil flow to the rocker bearings?

Can someone please give feedback if this is too much outward adjustment or not?

Thanks, Dan

I did a half a turn of pre-load from when the push rod stopped spinning freely, which I read is in the .030" range.

Shouldn't you be looking at the wipe pattern on the valve tip before worrying about the screw adjustment?

Is check fir clearance between the pushrod and rocker where cup is
