in looking at the power plate i think it will be the answer to my knock problem....but my plenum now has a spacer i don't know if it is stock or not but the vacuum blocl is rubbing on the hood pad if i add another 1/8 of an inch it will be putting a hole in my pad.... is this spacer stock ???? should i remove it to install the power plate any help would be appreciated thanks

No, the spacer is not stock. I believe it is recomended not to run a spacer with the power plate. Get the power plate, you'll be glad you did. I was able to run about 2 more psi of boost with no knock:D

I was told to take my plenum spacer (1/2" phenolic) out for the power plate install.

Didn't help my knock problem however.

more boost

i started it wrong....what i mean is that i can run more boost then 12# with little or no knock.....power plate looks like the way to go....

I went from 1/2" spacer to power plate with no help in the knock department either...
