Is it common for the brake light to come on if you pump the brakes about 5 times real fast? Light goes off in a few seconds, brakes stop fine. I just do like the fact that light comes on. Also it does have the gray switch. Tks Scott
 
I think that's normal. As long as the light doesn't come on in normal operation, I think you're OK.

No it's not common. It's an early warning sign that the accumulator is starting to go. When it gets to the point where the light comes on any time you give the brakes a good "stab", then it's time to park the car until you get a new accumulator.

Those red warning (idiot) lights are there to warn of impending problems (usually too late). But in this case you have good forwaring.
