Alright... The brown wire to the alternator wasnt working so I bypassed it and it was charging for a few months and now its not. Alternator checked out good soooo now what??? Also what are the plugs in the photo? Theyre just hanging loose... Thanks in advance

Those plugs are for fuel pump test and ignition signal. Nothing to do with the alternator. How did you bypass the brown wire?

Thats really all you have, the brown signal wire and the output wire--the red 10 gauge charge wire.... do you have battery voltage on the output terminal with the engine off? It should be hot at all times.

Just tapped into another 12v source on driver side fenderwell.

That will take out the regulator in the alternator. The L terminal where the brown wire goes requires either a 470 ohm resistor or a 194 light bulb in series with it.

The F terminal can be wired directly to IGN+ voltage with no ill affects. When this is done the L terminal is redundant.
